Mississippi Hunter’s Harvest

The Mississippi Wildlife Federation is pleased to announce the Mississippi Hunter’s Harvest Program, a program that lets sportsmen and women help provide venison to hungry people throughout Mississippi. We are able to launch this program through a generous grant from the James M. Cox Foundation. The Mississippi Wildlife Federation’s role is to promote and manage this program and raise funds to assist processors.

Through Mississippi Hunter’s Harvest partnerships, participating deer processors prepare the venison and the Mississippi Food Network distributes this meat to needy people in Mississippi.

Remember, hunters never go hungry, but children do.

How can sportsmen and women get involved?
