Education

As you are no doubt aware, Mississippi is a remarkable place in terms of natural resouces.  We are blessed with a diversity of plants and animals.  A mosaic of habitats ranging from deep Delta swamps to the Black Prairie to the Gulf marshes cover the State.  We have opportunities for year around outdoor activities whether it is hunting or fishing, to outdoor photography or preparing a backyard habitat.  Those opportunities cease to exist without knowledge of how to protect them.  The Mississippi Wildlife Federation is commited to providing information necessary to educate the public on natural resource conservation through our website, materials, workshops and events.  We believe that education is an important component in all we do.
